My first digital camera

Just want to share the news that this evening I received my Canon Powershot S230 bought from www.onecall.com. It is a great camera, small but fully packs with features.
Will post some pics later after learning the features ... I'm so happy!

Like I say in all other Canon camera threads - "Canon Cameras Rock!" I'm loving life with my G2. However, I've used an S110, S40 and then my G2. I'm very impressed with the quality of the shots. I can't believe Kodak puts out such a crappy digital camera - I'm surprised they are still in business. I took some comparable shots with a Kodak model 3600 and then my G2. I couldn't believe how bad the Kodak was. Ugh!

Actually, with digital cameras, it's not only about taking the pictures. You also have to take into consideration that you have many software tools (e.g. - Photoshop) which you can use to really enhance your photos. Plus, having that "instant gratification" of seeing your pictures within a few minutes of taking them can't be beat either!
