What kind of advice are you giving this poor soul? Never take out a dept store credit card. Interest rates are way too high on those. I would suggest taking out a credit card that acts like a debit card. YOu can only use it if you have money in the bank. You don't want to get sucked into credit cards when you're a student. They heavily target students. Be happy you don't have debt! Remember, if you use a credit card, then usually it means you don't have the money, which means you shouldn't buy the item.
