my first case mod, did i do it right?

i put a window in, with two 80mm fans in the window - both blowing IN
theres an 80mm fan in the front, also blowing in (haven't cut out the grill yet)
theres a 120mm sunon fan on the top, blowing out

theres also a pci exhaust at the bottom slot - which i think makes things worse

with the stock heatsink (with a nonstock fan)
temp is averaging 45, haven't seen it go past 47 (using mbm5)

are all my fans pointing the right way?
is there anything i can do to make my xp1800 run cooler (can't afford a new HSF just yet)

basically, i don't know crap about airflow - and i don't want to overclock until i know that i can keep the processor cool

sounds fine. all your fans appear to be doing the right thing. (you usually want a bunch sucking in at the front and side and a couple exhausting out back, which you have exactly)

BUT, all the fans in the world aren't going to cool an xp1800 nearly as well as a new HEATSINK and some good arctic silver II !!!

i used arctic silver
and i put a better fan onto the stock coolermaster (or whatever comes with the AMD Extreme Performance pack)

if only i could have gotten the window cut straight - i'll probably redo it when i have time, since the plexiglass chipped when i was cutting the holes for the fans

i won't ask which HSFs are good for the XPs, i've already seen about 1000 of those threads during the last month
