Well I've been pondering a lot lately and I was also able to raise some money for my next PC. This is what I was hoping to get -

* = the parts that I'm buying

* # AMD Athlon 64 3000 skt 939 Venice Core
* # Foxconn NF4UK8AA nForce4 Ultra motherboard
* # OCZ 1GB PC3200 DDR400 RAM
* # nVidia 6600GT 128mb GDDR3 128 bit PCI-E (MSI or Leadtek)
* # 1x 80mm Case Fan
* # 1x 120mm Case Fan (Comes with Case)
* # LG DVD-ROM 16x
* # Antec SLK1650B 17" Black Tower w/ Antec SmartPower 350w ATX2.0 PSU
* # Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse PS/2 (Black)
# Logitech SOCOM USB Headset
# Samsung 40GB 7200RPM 2MB Cache Hard Drive
# NEC 15" AccuSync 50 Montior (Max Res 1280x)
# Creative Soundblaster AWE64 16bit Soundcard
# Generic Floppy drive
# Logitech 2.1 Speakers

How does that look? Anything I need to change? I'll be getting my parts from www.cancomputer.com . I can't buy anything online. I can only get my parts from the website listed.

Might wanna change that foxconn to a chaintech. Search around, I've heard lots of bad things about Foxconn.
Yeah, change the drive. 2MB Cache = >_<!.
Looks good, BUT, you might want to consider 2x512MB as opposed to 1 GB
"* # OCZ 1GB PC3200 DDR400 RAM " <-- Might want to get Corsair ValueSelect (unless this is OCZ value ram too)

Yeah I'm getting 2 raptors and an SLI board in a bout 10 months. The ram is Value OCZ RAM and it's in dual channel. I forgot to post it.

My rig is listed in my Sig i paid 1150 Canadian for it. without the sound card, but i already had 2 17 inch monitors, so it is a pretty good deal.

Looks good. If your changing MoBo and HDD in the future, then the only other thing is the mouse. If you're buying a new one, have you considered a gaming mouse (like the MX510/MX518). They're twice the price of a regular mouse, but IMHO, worth every cent.

Otherwise, the system looks sweet. The Venice should overclock pretty well (if your planning on OCing).
