6months after purchase my Deluxe II x99 would boot after a random amount restart. Sent it to ASUS they upgraded the BIOS sent it back, it has the same issue. Sent it back again got an invoice for $130 saying the serial number sticker on the back of the MOBO is torn in half, which is a lie there was NO serial number sticker on the back of the mobo its on the box, I know because to create the RMA I needed the serial and had to get it off the Box, I hate these guys, they are trying to weasel out of honoring the warranty.

I don't even want to bother with this crap company, I need to get back to work... I have an
Intel pci ssd
1080 EVGA FTW video card
i7 6800k processor. I think socket 2011

Can anyone recommend a reliable MOBO besides ASUS..

Thanks.

ASRock, I've been using one of their boards for over four years and never had any problems with it. Make that two boards as I built my dad's system as well with one.

Same, i've had my ASrock motherboard for about 4 years now as well. Never had a problem with it, stable as hell.

My last computer had a Asus Socket A motherboard and never had any problems with it, so what happen to Asus's product QC?

While it could just be that particular board I normally use Gigabyte boards and never had issues. I've used Asus in the past and can't remember any issues with them as well.

I used Abit boards for overclocking back in the day but they went under, don't remember why.

You have to take picture of everything while dealing with any RMA's with any company. Write everything down, save chats, etc...

Tell them exactly what you're saying here, and refrain from using derogatory / curse words.

This isn't the first time I've heard of issues with ASUS x99 boards, supposedly something to do with their OC socket. I even had my ASUS x99A USB3 kill a 6850k. My best advise would be to make sure you are manually setting all voltages and staying away from XMP. Set everything manually.
