Work from home - others do not need to get sick - overall loss of productivity by one person trying to push beyond their limits and infecting others.

While I agree that a person sick with the flu should probably stay home you need to be yelling at the management, not the employees. If there wasn't so much pressure in today's workplace to meet deadlines, get stuff done etc.. I think people would be more apt to stay home at times like these.

Also, calling in sick is never usually looked upon favorably, even if it would help out in the long run by not infecting others in the office.

Last week I had someone with strep and someone with a flu come in. I was washing the hands all day. When strep lady asked me to help her with a problem, I refused, because I would have to sit at her desk and use her computer. I think not.

If you are sick, STAY HOME!

I agree. Sick people at work are coming in complaining about how crappy they feel between explosions of coughing and sneezing. Sharing is not always the best policy.

As stated above, wash your hands often. Use a clean tissue to touch your face.
Touching nose, mouth or eyes is a sure way to let the virus in.
Use a hand towel to open the public bathroom door, as most ppl do not wash their
hands before or after use.

I'm reminded of a certain Alaskan AT member who said the same thing, as he sat at his desk with a cold. Sneeze, cough, why don't people stay at home when they're sick, now I'm sick, damnit (he posted this from work.) hahaha

I remember last year going to fix a computer at one of our off site offices. I sit down and proceed to go to work when I discover the user has the freaking flu!! I was PO'd and asked him why he didn't stay his azz home. I tried to barely breath and washed my hands several times during and after I was ready to leave.
