I built amd sysytem today for the first time
MSI K7N2 board with xp1700 tbred.
I was going well till 170mhz FSB, then I decided to jump to 200mhz and 1.6v
now computer wont boot.

I've been O/Cing P4 and with that, usually if I push too far, and computer doens't boot.
then all I had to do is just turn the power off and on from PSU, then BIOS simply reset itself back to default and booted normaly.

I tried same thing with AMD rig and it's not working
tried disconnecting power supply from mobo, no go.

any help?

reset your cmos.. there should be a jumper to do it, look in your manual to see which one.

yes I see it
but doesn't say clearly
am I supposed to turn the computer on while jumper is on "clear CMOS"?
or while computer is off, put the jumper to clear then back to normal
then turn the computer on?
