Just hit 10K on my '11 Acura MDX. Been a daily driver in stop-go traffic, driving to work and picking up kid from school. Had 4 long drives of 400+ miles. Really impressed with the rideability and power of this vehicle. Especially coming from a '10 Pilot, this is a revelation despite being of the same pedigree. Only complaint, the mileage is abysmal in city 15.5 mpg. On the highway I got 21-23 mpg.

You summed up about every other owners experience. Should be stout till 120k miles then might need a few things looked at.

I also think the MDX was head of its class until the new engines came out and made the MDX weaker and bad mpg than the rest. Only thing acura really has going for itself is lots of standard features for entry luxury

The pricing is also ridiculous. I had two dealers quote me under $43k for an MDX with tech package. MSRP on that vehicle is somewhere north of $46k. That's pretty much unheard of for a Honda/Acura product in my experience.

The handling is also excellent. Too bad it is slightly too small for what the wife and I want.

MPG seems a bit low. My parent's ML350 usually hits 21 mixed (60% city) with around 23 highway.

I guess the added 7th gear really helps?
