My finger smells like garlic

I washed my hands with soap like 20 times already... still smells... last time I made fried rice my fingers smelled like garlic for like 5 days.

while washing your hands with soap rub the affected area on stainless steel ( a faucet or knife blade or something )

Supposedly rubbing your hands on something of stainless steel will help...baking soda + water always works too.
