My finger hurts. ****UPDATED!!!!****

Yes, it's true. There IS something that isn't perfect about me - my right ring finger hurts like a BITCH. The right side, nxt to the nail(looking at it from above, palm down).

THe pain is spreading through the finger, and it hurts like I've been smashin it in a door for the past 2 hours. Fsckin...AAAHHH!! I just hit a key with it and I'l squealing. It's almost numb now. Going....to...die...



UPDATE!

I woke up today and it is red, swollen, and there is a nice fscking puss pocket right below the skin next to my nail. It hurts like a #@tch. I'm soaking it in water to soften up the hard skin around there and then I'm gonna lance the fscker!

Actually, it sounds like you have an ingrown nail. See if you can push the skin back a bit to see whether the nail is growing sideways. If it is, you'll have to hack it out of there or it will just keep getting worse as it grows into the skin. It hurts like a mofo, but it's the only way to fix it (I had to perform this op on a big toe once...not fun).
