My wife owes me a Harley for my 40th Birthday. I'll be satisfied with nothing less! :p

I'm ready for a divorce. I've been threatened with divorce by my wife if I get a motorcycle. Next summer, I'm getting one. I don't see any downside anymore.

Mine is fine with me getting one actually. The timing just isn't right at the moment though.

Do you have kids? If so, please go see a counselor, for their sakes.

I am always reading about someones g/f or SO getting them something that they have really wanted. Well my fiance defiantly surprised this year. For our 5th anniversary he got me a nice robe (I have been wanting one for w long time), a cute little bear from build a bear and 6 dozen yellow roses. He is also going to take me out to eat on our next day off. He is such a sweetie.

Hold on a sec...He defiantly surprised you? You mean you specifically told him not to get you the robe and teddy bear yet he did it anyway?

No, I only told he I wanted a robe. I found one at wal-mart that I liked and I asked he to get it for me. I didn't expect anything else.

Definitely vs. Defiantly. Big difference ;)

BTW, congrats!

oops I thougt it looked odd but I just ignored it.

Not to dis your gifts in the least...but I thought yellow roses were for friendship, and red roses were for love?

I've also heard yellow roses were for betrayal, but I don't think that's a common interpretation. ;)

Congrats on your anniversary!

So he hasn't given you the flowers yet? Did he just show you a receipt for the flowers or did he tell you that they were on the way? :D

From someone who's been married so long she doesn't know the protocols for single folks, I have a question. If you're not married what do you have an anniversary of? Is it different for every couple?

I love yellow roses so much more than red ones myself. I know you enjoyed the gifts and the love they represent.

I guess it's a good thing then that we celebrate our marriage, as I have no idea what the date was when we officially started dating.
