Any comments on this configuration ?

Also, what in the near future can bring a price decrease of the Core Duo ? Core 2 Duo ? Any real competion from AMD ?

If you can wait, wait for Core 2 Duo to hit. Prices will be the same, performance better, and should work fine in that notebook (may need BIOS update).

Yeah, by prices being the same he means that Intel is selling Core 2 at the exact same price as Core. Retailers´ll probably inflate it a bit, but it´s not going to be a drastic difference like between the P-Ms and the Cores.

Core 2 Duo is about the same speed as the Core Duos in Laptops... dont bother paying the Extra.. AMD still has the upperhand on the Laptop market.
