My ex-GF got so drunk last night...

So we lived together for about 18 months. Almost 4 months ago we broke up and she moved out pretty much immediately. After prolonged stays at a couple of her friends' houses, she finally got her own place about a month ago, which leads us to last night.

I went to bed early (for once) and I was actually moderately excited to get a full night's rest. Three hours into my peaceful slumber, about 2:30 am, I was awakened by what sounded like someone trying to get into my apartment. So I grabbed my bat and prepared to confront whoever it was. Looking through the peephole, I was greeted by the sight of my ex-GF trying unlock my door with the key to her new condo.

Somewhat confused, I opened the door for her at which point she immediately ran to the bathroom and started vomiting. I sat with her a little while to make sure she was ok then went back to bed. Upon waking up this morning I found her passed out cold with both arms still wrapped around the throne.

The first words out of her mouth when I woke her were "Where the fvck am I?"

An amusing conversation ensued in which I got to inform her of exactly how she ended up at my place. She said she forgot most of the details from last night, but for some reason she thought she was still living with me even though she remembered that we were broken up.

Maybe some of the drunks here can elaborate on how a person could get so incoherent off of alcohol. I've never been drunk enough to do something that silly

I've never done it, but have friends that go "blank" after a certain amount of drinking and are fully functional talking and walking but come the next day they won't remember a damn thing, it's like a switch in them or something and you can see it by the look on their face.

Oh ... and how did she get to your place?
Please tell me she didn't drive in that state.

ya know... all jokes aside... that is a frightening thing.

to lose so much control of oneself thru booze... to the point of not knowing where you are... is terrifyingly dangerous!!!! Holy COW!!!! where was she? who was she with? How did she get to you place?

She should be thanking GOD for how lucky she was to end up with you! Ask Natalie Halloway's parents.

That happens to me on occasion. But it usually happens when I'm drunk and tired. I don't really give it that much thought because even before I started drinking if you called me too early or to late there would be a good chance we would have a conversation while I was still asleep.

Also, I really really hope she didn't drive herself home.

Just to clarify, "The Throne" is your nickname for your penis, right?

Thankfully, she didn't drive and she was with her friends.

We had a very serious conversation during my lunch break today, and she is fully aware of how much danger she put herself in. She is by no means a heavy drinker, which might help to explain why so gets so out of it when she does overindulge.

my roomate in freshman year would black out all the time. then we convinced him that he did things, like cause damage to the dorm, etc. and he believed us.
