Installed. Operates with no issues. Life goes on.

Boring thread, huh?

Actually, I do have something interesting to report. What is listed on Newegg and even their official site with regards to cabling is seemingly incorrect. I have 3 SATA connectors on two different wires. I have two, yes two, 6+2pin PCI-e connectors. It is listed that way in the manual also. Perhaps EVGA updated the line? If you are interested in having a PSU that doesn't make have to go to EBay to get adapters, this thing passes the test. 6 SATA connectors for 6 drives. Two 8 pin PCIe if you need to power that big GPU.

Might need a bump three years from now to see if those caps fail like the FUD spreaders over the internet say they will. But that's the point, all it will do is become quietly inoperable sooner, at the very worst. I expect no theatrics. No "blowing up".

I'll have to process the rebate so it costs me $15+ rebate postage and paper instead of $35. They better process it, because I didn't really need a new PSU.

I wouldn't pay $42 dollars for this PSU, the Thermaltake Toughpower with a 5 year warranty would take that, but for that Black Friday price and hopeful rebate, this PSU is just fine for the task.
