Looks like a good guide. I've never done any serious mods to my computer, but my 1600XP needs a little extra juice I think. I plan on unlocking the XP and following your guide to do the volt mod.

I have very little experience with resistors and soldering them, but i think I can do this. My 1600+ can go up to about 1510-1530 Mhz with 1.85v and an SK-6. I've cooled it well enough, and it still won't go up any more. I don't really need the extra performance, I'm just intrigued and want to see how high this sucker can really go.

great guide snowpunk............i would put it to good use... but the wife is using the epox board now.......lol........maybe later i will get it back and mod it
