My entire neighborhood is caked in ice

I'd post a pic of the neighborhood, but that would involve scraping my apartment windows. I'm really surprised that the power hasn't gone out.

EDIT: there's no screen on that part of the window - the ice is actually stuck directly on the glass in this picture. :Q

Yeah, that's what the cars are like outside. Just finished scraping off my wife's car...my ice scraper couldn't even nick it. I had to leave the car on for like 15 minutes then pick at it with my fingers. Ugh!

we got 1/2-1 inch of freezing rain and sleet. Mixed with a little snow.

I am about to attempt to drive up my driveway. I shall post about how my car got stuck soon.
