I've got a Netgear WGR614 wireless router, and whenever I go to Facebook.com, it'll work for about 15 seconds, and let me look at pages, but then my ENTIRE internet times out, for the next few minutes. Can't access ATOT, AIM gets signed off, and facebook is unaccessable. This ONLY happens with Facebook.com. WTF is going on?

Upgrade your firmware. There could be an image somewhere on that site or the site itself, coming from a dns record that is corrupting your router's arp tables, causing the whole os to crash.

I had to do something similar on my router to correct it's support of fragmented packets.

I have the same problem with myspace/facebook and that router. I just figured the servers for those sites were slow and overloaded. I notice this with linux boxes that I maintain carefully so I don't think it's a spyware issue. I'll try upgrading the firmware.

Don't be selfish, you don't own the Internet. When your connection dies the entire Internet does not die along with it. Where are your manners?

Interesting. I'm on OS X so it's not spyware here either, and it's already on the latest firmware. Damn it, stupid Netgear.

You have gremlins in your computer. You probably need to turn it upside down and shake it to get them out.
