My Ear Hurts

I have this weird swelling behind my right ear that hurts and itches a bit. Feels like an infection or something... it's really annoying.
 
I get those occasionally. I had one behind my left ear. It was NOT a blister. It was a swollen mass, about the size of a small marble. I couldn't pop it to save the life of me.

I did the following.

Got good and drunk.
Had GF swab the area with rubbing alcohol.
Had GF take scalpel and cut it open, squeeze out puss, pour alcohol in it.

It didn't bleed all that badly and hasn't come back.

Seriously.
 
GF as in girlfriend? You two should be married after that! Go to the doc, sounds like an operation they can do right at the doc's office without going to the hospital. They will likely give you some anti-biotics.

Yep. Actually, EX-girlfriend now. Not because of the ear thing...she's very good at surgery. Everything else in the relationship sucked though.
