Hello Everyone,

For fun I wanted to see how fast I could clock my E4500 and boot into windows. I put the voltage @ 1.6 and fsb to 333 with the 11 multi which gives a speed of 3663mhz. The idle temps were 75c and under full load core temp was flashing between 125c and 85c back and forth. I am using the stock hsf and it was stable for the few mins that I was running prime95. Anymore then 3663 would bsod booting into windows. Next time I will try more voltage. This was just for fun and before anyone yells at me for being so dumb I am not too worried if I was to fry my CPU. It is a cheap CPU and I like pushing it to the max.

Soon I will get a water cooling system and see what it really can do.

Wow, I guess you like to live dangerously. :p

You were probably thermal throttling, next time load up RMClock first to check if you are. If you are, then you're not really at 3663Mhz, and your overclock doesn't count.

Good point.. that would explain the 85-125c jumping. I figured the system would bsod before thermal throttling. Guess not!
