My e-mail adress is strange

When I´m not logged in and view the profile for my account, the e-mail address says ´clauzii@REMOVEjubii.dk´ and not ´clauzii@jubii.dk´

How come?????

It's common practice to insert the word "REMOVE" in member's email addresses to help against harvesting of our email addresses by spammers.

If a "bot" or whatever is searching through posted email addresses to obtain them for spammers, it won't know it must remove the word "REMOVE".

It's for our benefit.

LOL, I remember leaving the word "REMOVE" in and trying to email peeps here. 🙂

Prolly wouldn't hurt to have a note somewhere as to why "REMOVE" is inserted.

Was that your first day on the internet or do I expect too much from people?

I'll leave that for you to decide.

Was first time trying email someone on a forum, not on the net (been doing that since gopher and WAIS). But given the weird email addresses I've seen over the years, well looks like almost anything goes as far as addresses.
