My dvd drive read only cds

Hello everyone.
Today i realized than my dvd driver reads only cds
when i try to play a dvd, it recognize it like cd.

Today i installed a new grafic card, has something to do with this?

The drive has two separate reading lenses - one for CDs and one for DVDs. It is possible for one to go bad leaving the other good. Try a lens cleaning disk. You may just have to replace the unit.
