My dvd drive keeps popping in and out...

I knew someone who had this problem with a cheap 8x4x32x CD-RW drive. I put in my computer and it did the same thing. It wouldn't open all the time...just randomly. The drive was screwed up.

I had a problem with this in the past as well. It turned out that the tray-plate was a little out of place. All i did was to realign the plate and all was well.

And by tray-plate, i mean the little piece of plastic that actually sits perpendicular to the cd tray, in the very front of the drive.
