I have a NEC DV5700A drive and it was hit in the front by a shoe one day and wouldnt allow my pc to boot. So I unplugged it and everything was fine. So one day (a month later), I put the drive back in and low and behold it booted and added the drive and I could read from it. But now, every once in awhile (using on reboot), the drive will not show up as Primary Slave when the drives are listed and I have to do ctrl-alt-del and it will show up. What could be the problem? Is the drive going bad on me and should I find a replacement? LMK. Thanks in advance for your help.
