I have a generic DVD-R, and tonight I was trying to burn a disc when I got the error message "E:\ is not accesible Incorrect Function". I tried unistalling the device, along with enabling it and disabling it. I also restarted my computer various times. A few days ago I burned a disc without any problems, so i find it quite odd that something could go wrong. However, I did install the latest nForce driver from nVidia a few days ago, and I was wondering if that COULD be the problem? I also cannot remember the driver that I had before, but it is about 2 months old at least, I dont have the old driver on my computer anymore.

One more question, could it be a bios issue? I am using the stock bios currently. And I know this may sound like a stupid question, but how do I install a new Bios? I downloaded it, but it is just a .bin file and there is no readme so I dont know what to do.

Thx in advance

Did you install the nVidia IDE driver? If you did, uninstall it and use window's default IDE driver.

I have uninstalled the nVidia IDE driver, and I still get the exact same problem.

I have also tried unistalling the latest 5.10's, and I installed the driver I was using before, 4.27, and I am still getting the same problem. I have tried disabling, updating the driver and no matter what I do I still get the same error. I just used it last week, and it looks fine, so I cant understand what is wrong. Any suggestions anyone?
