Very nice.

On the topic of photos. What would be the best way to shoot a picture of the moon at dusk through a window. I would be about 10-15ft from the window, it's light in the house and still a little light outside. Just curious cause it would have been a sweet pic.

This would be a great use of a High Dynamic Range technique. It is kind of complicated. Google for HDR tutorials - you'll find more information than you need.

Problem is - you will either expose for the brightess of the moonlight - which will make everything inside very dark. OR you can expose for the inside - which will make the moon be washed out and not that special. . .

you mean something like this or this?

i forget what settings i used to take those, but i tried again recently. i used a nikon d50, a 70-300mm lens. aperture was probably like a 6.5, iso was around 800, and shutter speed was around 1200. i didn't get any really decent ones but somewhere around those settings seemded to work pretty well. they were pretty grainy so i might try a lower iso next time.

through a window probably won't work to well, go outside.
