I finally pulled the trigger on the Dell 30" flat panel. It came to $1790 with tax and 5 year complete-care warranty. I've got 2 x 20" that I'll turn to portrait when it gets here. I matched it with a 7900 GTO that I'll keep for a year or so until DX 10 cards drop and I upgrade to vista.

3007 is a good display although the inverter on one of mine is fussy sometimes on cold startups.
