Well why didn't you mention the use of this rig, It surely ain't gonna be gaming  Cause your wife wont let you play....

So why do you require a 4890 x2 huh ?? As far as i know except for gaming that high GPU's are not required anywhere else :p

You are going to regret that 30gig Vertex. I have the 60 and I run out of space pretty easily. With Vista and the few games I play, it leaves very little room for play. Although I don't regret buying it for the speed. It is a fast drive!

True. 30GB isn't any good for a gaming rig. Go for the 60GB or actually just buy the Intel 80GB X-25M.

Hell OS itself is some 10gb, All the games these days are nearly 8 ~ 10 gb so you can hardly have two games and bang its full .............

30gb ocz vertex is around 130$ and 60 gb one is 220$ and x-25m is 400$

im guessing the vertex is just for the OS and the HDD for everything else. That works out good but i recommend a 60gb at least.

Yeah but the point would be to have the games on the SSD instead of the slow HDD.

I will STRONGLY recommend against the CM Cosmos 1000 case. I have the case, it has poor if not horrendous airflow, LOUD included case fans, poor cable management options, along with a HDD bay that will cook your hard drives. I killed a Seagate 500GB 7200.10 drive in this case just a week after installing it, the drive worked perfectly fine for about 8 months in my old case. They include 4 case fans that are not very quiet at all, two of mine which now make annoying rattling noises and I have removed them because of that. The cable management does not allow you to hide your cables very well, and if you have too many cables around the backside you will have issues with the side panel not staying in securely and constantly falling off (side panels are not screwed in but there is a spring loaded latch to open them up). The case also has serious QA and build quality issues as well, the pci expansion slots on mine did NOT align with my cards at all, they were about an entire inch off. I've tried different motherboards and pci cards and they all still did not align properly. Just horrible QA done by coolermaster here. There is also a lot of very cheap plastic used, and my case makes a highly annoying creaking sound every so often. In addition, the case is HEAVY, 17kg empty, so if you do get a bad one, it'll be pretty darn expensive to ship back (I'm in Canada so it's more expensive than if you were from the States).

Otherwise, your proposed build looks pretty good, but I would highly recommend grabbing a pair of GTX 260 core 216 or GTX 275 cards instead of the 4890s. I also agree with the previously mentioned power supply changes by the other posters.
