My Dollar Menu round up

I'm going to start working on my 2nd round up, this one will be of the premium items like the Angus or Sirloin Burgers etc. I feel this is important and valuable research. Eating all these 99 items I missed out on good bacon and premium toppings. Eating thru all the higher dollar burgers will take me a few months as there's a lot out there to eat. I will report back around Xmas with my complete findings 🙂

I shall start today at lunch, and since I miss Bacon so much I think it's only logical I go to Wendys for a Baconator.

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Bacon!

May I ask what you weigh?

last time I weighed myself was about 2 months ago, I was right at 202, my clothes still fit the same so I'm probably the same size, maybe a lb or 2 heavier at most.

height and age, please for relevant stats. 🙂

dountful, the doctor says I'm healthy as can be, I ate 50 items over 21 days, that's not even 2 1/2 a day. I know Fast Food isn't good for you (well, most of it) but that was all I was eating besides breakfast for the past 3 weeks. I'd have to eat a ton more fast food for it to really effect me badly. I wasn't even hitting 100% of my daily recommended intake of salt or fat here.

to everyone else asking about my health, if I'm eating less fat than recommended every day it doesn't matter what I eat. Burgers and Fries aren't good for you, but it's not like I'm putting down a huge 1lb burger with a extra large fry. I'm eating a fucking dollar menu item or two. You could eat fast food every day of your life and live to be 100 as long as you're not eating super sized combo meals all the time.

And I find that doubtful. Based on your eating habits, do you get any nutritional value from your meals? B/c you're not getting any valuable vitamins/minerals/etc from that crap. Do you take any supplements, eat any fruits/vegetables? Do you exercise?

Jay Leno - who I'm sure you've heard of. Has said in a few interviews he hates vegetables and hasn't eaten one since he was a kid and forced to. He's still pretty healthy, he might die at 85 instead of 90 or 95, but so what? I find veggies to be very overrated. Leno might be the exception to the rule, where he eats like shit but is still healthy, but it does happen. I get plenty of protein and carbohydrates, and I typically eat a side salad. So I do have some greens in my diet. Again my diet isn't healthy, I eat worse at home than I do when it comes to going out for fast food, much worse.

Wow. Ignorance ftl. Yes, that iceberg lettuce is full of nutrients. And the protein and carbo quality of your food is horrible. Have you had blood tests for cholesterol, liver, kidney, blood pressure, etc?

How do you know Jay Leno is healthy? He probably takes supplements up the ying-yang, gets regular check-ups and does some exercise. He also more than likely eat higher quality foods than you.

I didn't read the entire thread, so this may have been mentioned...

The Rally's / Checkers here has $0.99 Chili Cheeseburgers.... They've become my favorite item from there... other than their fries.

I'll have to check out Carl's Jr. Spicy chicken now... I've never had it. for this thread!

p.s. jitb 2 tacos + their buttermilk = 😀

From my years on ATOT, most people who claim to eat alot on here are usually pretty skinny. Just my 2 cents.

.99 Big Hamburger
- It's not big, well except for a big disappointment. Has almost no flavor, not good, oh and it has no cheese (extra) would not eat again. And I love fast food 🙂

Just thought I'd point this out, b/c not many people are 'in the know' about the Big Burger: it's almost exactly the same as the Famous Star. Uses the same patty and bun and whatnot. I believe the Big Burger has mustard instead of 'Special Sauce'. Oh, and no onions and maybe no tomato (been a long time, hard to remember). But here's the key- IF you can find a Famous Star of $0.99, that's a sale price. The regular price is something like $1.50 or more. The Big Burger has a regular price of $0.99. This has two implications:

1. If you happen to have a coupon for a % off, it applies to the Big Burger, but not the Famous Star (can't combine coupons with sale prices).
2. If you order a Big Burger, plain, with lettuce, tomato, special sauce, and onion, it's a Famous Star. Assuming the Famous Star is NOT $0.99, you can pay for the big burger and an extra $.10 or $0.15 for the vegetation, and get a Famous Star for less than the Famous Star price.

My first job in HS, when I was 16, was at a CJ. When you were on break, you got a 50% discount. Nothing like a Big Burger disguised as a Famous Star for only $.50!

What's with all this .99c crap? All our places have "Dollar" menus. What are you doing, going up to the counter with only .99 and making them eat the penny? 😉

My BK out here has a $1 Whopper Junior. Contains a tomatoe, lettuce and a burger, it is all just smaller than a whopper. I guess for 1 penny mor it was disqualified from your $.99 deals. Their burger plain jane is cheaper than 99.

OH well.
