lol, have been watching the dog last couple of days. She likes to go over to the neighbors apple tree and help herself.
Hope she doesn't get a stomach ache from eating green apples.

I have a dog that has been eating apples off the tree every season for the past two years. He probably eats 2-3 a day.

You might want to read this anyway. Text

apparently they contain minute amounts of cianide.
According to this page a lot of common things are harmful, I suspect its overblown but I will call the vet and see if its a big concern.

ok just called the vet and he said, " yes the seeds contain toxin, but they would have to eat a lot ot them to even be a concern".
He placed a lot of emphasis on a Lot!

My dog loves chasing the ball. One time we started throwing a lemon for him and he hated it, but we kept throwing it, and he kept bringing it back. He would run and pick it up, then drop it and pick it up and drop it all the way back. It was hilarious.

My wife has fed her dog apples, grapes, pears, citrus, mango, pineapple, pastries, carrots, tomato, coffee, yogurt, etc. for years as the dog begs for them (not as an everyday thing). It's the first time I'd ever seen a dog eat fruit.

She does have dislikes. I remember that she hates potatoes. If you give her pot roast, she'll east the carrots, meat, and gravy, but she'll separate out the potatoes onto the floor. She's also a nuisance if you try to slip a pill into some mashed up bread.

In everyday life, she's fed rice and whatever's left over from lunch. She's also been on a pretty consistent diet of baby formula since February (she seems to love it).

This has been going on for her entire life (over ten years?), and she seems fine. pic

If she were my dog, I'd feed her good dog food.
