no, im 190lbs, but he is a 100lb doberman. he has a bit of strength, and we were walking on a muddy edge of the river where i couldnt get much of a grip. i really diddnt have a chance.

Oh yeah, I hope your phone makes it, because I've done it too. I should say that I almost lost a cell phone to a flood (fording streets = fun), but it obstinately started working again two days later.

I wouldn't have minded a new phone at the time, though -- it was my old Nokia 3360.

I left my phone in the washer AND dryer 🙂. There's some white stuff on the screen but it's still fully fucntionable. All i had to do was recharge it.

i did the same thing with mine, but it didn't survive. alas! luckily i had backed up my numbers to my SIM card, which did survive.

when i turned it on afterwards, the scrin went on, but just blank white, and the phones vibrating mechanism was going nonstop. not sure what to think. i wish i knew if it was gonna work, so i know if i should go and get a new phone today

Well . . . I can think of other uses for a phone that won't stop vibrating . . .
