Sorry for the loss 🙁.

One of our cats died a few months ago.. we think he got hit by a car. We didn't even have time to take him to the vet. 🙁 We got two new kittens instead, but we'll always miss him.

Thanks guys.

I'm OK with it. Living on a farm and being a hunter you get used to it. BUT my wife is freaking out. She is all worried about our daughter (2 years old). My daughter has'nt even asked about him yet. I don't think she really notices yet.

Hope everything goes well for you waggy.

Hopefully you can explain to your daughter your dog ran away or something better than the dog died.

=\

That is very sad. Ive never had a dog but i had a bunch of hamsters once and when one of them died it was never a good experience.

*update!*

well duke died this afternoon 🙁

My wife is upset. But i promised to take her to the shelter and let her pick out a dog once we get settled into the house.

I don't get how people lose a pet and run right out and get a new one. When someone dies you don't run out and replace them. You're supposed to mourn. New dog right away=emotional crutch. Just something that's always bothered me. Sorry about your doggie. He was a cute little fella.
