My dog has fleas!

How do you get rid of fleas fast? Not just shampooing/vacuming/flea treatment, but is there anything else i can do?

I hope they are not in your house. These things are very persistent. They increase in numbers faster than rabbits and bite the living hell out of you.

I'm seconding shuttleteam's recommendation, and would like to add that I've been able to get this stuff without a prescription (from Pet Club in south San Jose). It seriously works wonders.

Yeah, that works pretty good.

I'm surprised that my dog didn't get any fleas this year, some years he had it bad.

First thing to do is shampoo the dog and clean the areas that he sleeps at. Use a bug bomb. And keep up on it because as soon as you stop the fleas will come back.
