Won't get anywhere near people as I was using a 400mm lens, and I still had to crop the image, but the deer and my dog run around and chase each other from about dusk until tomorrow morning. I don't know whether I should be worried that the deer might hurt my dog, or be happy that she found a playmate.

Where in Texas do you live? I am guessing the Hill country near Austin. That looks like a nice area.

That's a big dog, I wouldn't worry about her getting hurt. I suppose if it decided to kick... but dogs are designed to kill things like deer... my guess is it will be fine.
