My display has gone horribly corrupted

I took photos to illustrate the problem:

(Sorry for the annoying slideshow format)

It's odd because there's two distinct corruptions. The one with the coloured blocks with symbols inside and the one with the snowy, vertical stripes. If I leave it to boot up into Windows, it comes up with a BSOD error about the pagefile.

It happened last night while I was watching a video and locked Windows up. I assumed that something had overheated as I had just finished encoding some video when it happened, so I just turned it off until this morning but to no avail.

My CPU, memory, mainboard and GPU are all less than a year old so I'm hoping that whatever has broken is under warranty. At the moment, I'm thinking graphical error equals GPU problem? If someone could confirm or dispute my assumption, I'd be grateful.

That definitely looks like a video card problem. Is the fan on your card working? Try a different card and see if that fixes the problem and then RMA the card.

I used to have very similar problems with my old X800 ocasionally, usually a restart would solve it at least for a while, but i'm pretty sure you will have to RMA the card.
