It's odd because there's two distinct corruptions. The one with the coloured blocks with symbols inside and the one with the snowy, vertical stripes. If I leave it to boot up into Windows, it comes up with a BSOD error about the pagefile.
It happened last night while I was watching a video and locked Windows up. I assumed that something had overheated as I had just finished encoding some video when it happened, so I just turned it off until this morning but to no avail.
My CPU, memory, mainboard and GPU are all less than a year old so I'm hoping that whatever has broken is under warranty. At the moment, I'm thinking graphical error equals GPU problem? If someone could confirm or dispute my assumption, I'd be grateful.
