My Dishwasher sucks.

stop using laundry detergents. First time I used the dishwasher (in college), I accidentally used liquid detergent (the ones in plastic for handwashing dishes). The entire kitchen floor was covered in suds and I had a fun time of cleaning it all up.

I think you just need to sit down and have a serious heart to heart with it, and ask it why it doesn't apply itself fully like all your other appliances do, and see if maybe there's something bothering it. Maybe it just wants the apple-scented detergent, or a hug, or maybe it just wants to get it on with the oven.
