I had the best steak I've ever tasted a couple nights ago.
I don't care if you steak elitists flame about how marinating ruins the steak. It was unbelievable.
Couple of thick tri-tips marinated for about 30 hours in my own homemade teriyaki mix.
Then grilled medium-rare on the barbeque.
It was seriously the best I've ever had. The kind of meal that after every bite, you still can't believe how good it is.

And I would never trust a woman (let alone mine) to bbq ribs for me ;) :p.

Btw, I'm digesting now....zzzzzzzz
Ditto. :D

Gave the dogs each the remains of one shank...you'd think they'd won the lottery. ;)

Beats the crap out of easy mac :( I wish I could afford food... The only food I have in the house is a few packets of easy mac and some ramen. Being poor isn't fun ;)

Actually, lamb shanks are only $3.49 a pound here, so my dinner was really pretty cheap. Kind of time-consuming to prepare, but nothing too crazy. Lemme know if you want the recipe. :D

Sweet, another Tilapia eater.

And no Fausto, your dinner sucks, because it IS lamb.

Honestly, we spent about $10 on dinner (other than the wine)...it's all in the preparation. There are plenty of cuts of meat that are really cheap (like shanks) that can be really damn good if you take the time to cook them right.

Homemade calzone. :)

That's the only meal posted that makes me jealous.

Even got my fiance to make the dough in the breadmaker. It wasn't a traditional calzone b/c I put some marinara sauce in mine but damn it was tasty. :p
