My dinner taste odd

Got creative and tried to mix to dishes up that i never had.



Smoked sausage and broccoli cheddar rice :'(
Okay.. not really creative but odd

The taste explodes in your mouth almost causing nausea. Anyway im forcing myself to eat this because i already cooked it

fresh from the store. Just i haven't had smoked sausage in years. Decided to try it out lol. Taste exactly like smoke sausage just doesn't go together with this flavored rice.

Yeh. Hmm. It sounds liek it would work together great. I'd cook the sausage separate first though then added it in or put it over the top.

For some reason, I've spent some time thinking about this. Did you cook the sausage with the rice? If so, the salt brine from the sausage might have soaked into the rice, giving an overwhelming pork taste. Brown the sausage separately and then add it next time.
