My Dilemma

Girl problems.

Ok in a nutshell:

I like her, i got her email recently (yes, by asking her personally).

Not sure if she likes me though.

Positives:

She laughs at alot of my jokes.

She laughs at how silly i act sometimes.

She gave me her email.

We talk often.

At lunch on Friday she was all excited to see me sit at their table.

Negatives:

Once my friend asked her if she thought i was weird, and she nodded carelessly 🙁

My "friend" likes her, but she told me she does not like him. She got me to talk him out of asking her out.

Everyone around me by listening to these facts tells me to go for it, but i'm not quite sure.

Advice are appreciated.

Do more stuff together casualike as friends, but in small groups of evenly matched girls/guys. Branch off with girl as much as possible. Be flirty, not just friendly. Suck her in.

This way you both avoid the pressure of a 'date' and still move towards a goal.

but honestly, try to be flirty, follow yllus's advice and you might just pull her. If you act friendly and not flirty, you'll get a friend.

Man, can you guys gimme specific actions?

"flirty"? "suck her in"?

To get her to do stuff, i need her number. That is what everyone is telling me to ask for. But if she rejects me, it will be weird afterwards. And i don't want that.

Should i ask for the number?

I think she said i'm weird just in a kidding way. If she really thought i was weird she wouldn't give me her email nor will she talk to me that often.
