Alright for starters I think ibuypower computers really suck. Lemme start my story. This goes back to december 20th. Okay, for christmas I get a 1600 dollar computer (biggest present of my life). I had been searching around for about a year and decided ibuypower had the best prices for the parts I wanted. I customized it and ordered it. I didn't get it til about january 4th or 5th (I was pretty angry) but I didn't mind that much. It wasn't until I opened the box that I found they had given me the wrong mobo and PSU. Well I have no idea how to install a PSU or mobo so I sent it back and they put in a new order.
They were pretty nice this time, they gave me a free Rad 9700 pro upgrade from ti 4800. Okay, this whole process took about 2 weeks to get my order in. I finally get my computer in february and it's perfect. About 3 1/2 months pass w/o any serious error (actually I did have to reinstall windows once because I got hacked, but I won't put them on that responsibility). I decide to run 3dmark one day and find out my radeon is running lower clock speed than normal.
I decide to call them up and ask for a replacement. I wait about a week and then receive the card. Everything works fine until suddenly after about a week of using it my computer starts randomly restarting, while I'm in the middle of something. This problem comes back on and off for a few days until, suddenly after the comp randomly shuts down, I get no video afterwards unless I pull out the video card (Also the BIOS was all scrambled). By this time I call ibuypower up and tell them about my problem. They decide to send me another vid card (they said it was bad video ram). I wait another week and get it and I plug it in and nothing happens.
I call them back again and they decide to tell me to send the comp back . I have to wait a week for the forms to come in to send the comp back then I send it back. I wait about 2-3 weeks for them to finally send it back. Well I just got it back yesterday and here's what has happened. Most of the wiring was done wrong on the mobo, I had to switch most of the headers into different spots. Also my comp rebooted today in the middle of nothing. Should I be worried? Do you think they can still give me a refund? What would you do in my situation? Please don't tell me I shouldnt've bought from a company and should've built it myself, what's done is done.
EDIT: Paragraphified
