I have been running a 30gig IBM deskstar for less then a year at a FSB of 140to160 do you think this killed my drive???

I thought it was the larger GXPs that had the problems??? anyone else have problems with high FSB and HDs??

That could make it unreliable, but I don't know of any reason why it would cause its demise. Most electronic-related drive failures are due to static electricity during installation or the motor or head arm driver chips overheating.
