How did you upload to YouTube without Internet access? Tether that phone!

Im currently surviving with 4g cell service. I've been using the mobile hotspot feature but burned up my 2 gigs of high speed data pretty quick.

Wow, a 4 year old addicted to the internet. Thought I'd never see that day come. :(

My daughter is 6 and hooked on the net..has been for a long time. Just because they find something addictive doesn't necessarily mean its a problem, unless you don't teach them self control and if necessary, control them yourself. Kids were hooked on cartoons long before the net, and they had a lot less educational information on average.

I don't think it's especially shocking. The internet's an all-in-one shop for everything. Books, movies, music, games, and social interaction. It's like taking the best toy the kid has.

LOL, I've rebooted my modem a few times during the last month because of a somewhat bad connection and there was not a time that my kids or my wife didn't yell at me about the internet being down (before the modem completed its' rebooting process).

I can definitely relate!

Child abuse. You're a monster, OP.

Pay your damn bills and stop depriving your kids from their basic human necessities.

Pro tip: You need 2 subscriptions from different ISP's so one can act as a backup. You don't rely on one faucet in your house for toilet, shower and cleaning duties do you?

Her access was limited to Netflix on the Wii u. We dont have cable so it was pretty much the only entertainment for her.

I dont know about the school districts around everybody else but they passed a levy here to get all the students k-12 ipads. My friends son who is 7 told me they have iPad time in school during math to play "math games" but they aren't supervised so they do whatever.

I could see that video going viral.

Losing the internet isn't that bad for me, I'm alright reading books when it's cold out. Did that and played a lot of board games with friends when we lost power for several days during/after hurricane Sandy.

She's a woman she is faking it. She didn't take it that hard she wants to trick you into feeling guilty so you buy her some candy.
