My data and picture messaging doesn't work after iPhone 4.0.1 update?

so my 3gs had 3.something firmware and was jailbroken. i wasn't paying attention and accidentally allowed iTunes to update it to 4.0.1 i don't really care about losing the functionality of being jailbroken but currently i can't check my email,surf, maps, or send picture messages (the option just isn't even there). so i am assuming there is something wrong with data being sent to and from the phone. any ideas on how to fix this?

Try to go into Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Yea.. not sure then. Either restore it.. or call Apple Support, which they'll probably tell you to restore it first. More than likely you had a hack or something on your phone that didn't sit well when you upgraded to 4.0.1. I've had this happen numerous times actually. One of the reasons why I just haven't bothered jailbreaking in a while.
