My dash cam has more information than your dash cam (aka fun at a track)

Ok, It's not *my* dash cam, per se, but it's mine in that I'm the driver.

Ignore the less than accurate privacy brake light that I overlayed ;)

Sadly, youtube mangled some of the gauges a little.

Not bad for a first time ever at a track I guess. These are in a Boxster S. The Carrera S video would need more editing, and might have to strip the audio as it is lots of instructor chatter (7 laps of voice instructions intended for 3 people).

PSDS? Nice

Yup!

Imagine how pleased I was after I noticed there was a free download to get *all* the telemetry data (elevation, IAT, fuel level, throttle, g-forces, gps speed, OBD speed, etc) out of the videos instead of just speed and RPM like their packaged layout gives. We only recorded ~25 minutes of track time. I can see why they do that. The USB drives are only 4GB and end up a little over half full with that.

OMG that was good. I have to keep reminding myself that is not Forza. Thanks for sharing.

Nice !!!

That looks pretty quick for a Boxster S. Can't wait to see what the Carrera S video looks like.

Which track was this?

Follow the leader sessions? I didn't see any passing. Still looked like fun.

Correct, it was about precision and not speed. Any speed was a side effect. The lead car is always an instructor. Usually, they were talking the whole time and we changed positions per lap. On these videos, you don't see it, and you don't hear any instructions because the lead car is an individual riding along with the instructor getting personalized instruction/asking questions/etc.

Here is all the info you get. Ignore the slow section on the straight. We let another group by.

Very nice. What is this big circle on lower right? Is it when you activate your brake? Does it provide more information?

I myself use bluetooth OBD with Torque on android.

It's supposed to be the brake, but... the brake is on lightly in to the beginning of the turns, but the light goes off, so I don't think that was calibrated correctly.

I just used it to cover up the part of the video that was me ;)
