My darkroom is done!!!

Yay! 🙂

My personal darkroom (setup in my bathroom) is all finished. Got everything (chemicals, safelight, enlarger, etc.) off ebay for $190.

First i had to build a little storage thingy for my bathroom to keep everything.
In pieces
Finished!
While my dog relaxed in the box.
Awww.

Here's the whole setup. It's kinda hard to really see it because of the mirror.
Just the enlarger.
And the water bath. (kinda blurry)
And the timer.
The safelight. Even though it doesn't work! :| So i have to get a new one, but oh well.

The quality of the pics is kinda low cause I was lazy and just used Paint to reduce the sizes.

What is the future of chemical photography?

😕
It's a question. Are there any advantages in chemical photography (higher resolution, better color) over digital. Is it going to always be around? Or is it just going to be done by enthuiests?

ummm what are you going to do when you need to brush your teeth?

Take my toothbursh and toothpaste from the medicine cabinet and brush.

The enlarger stays where it is. I dry the water bath and put it in the storage thing.

I guess it just depends on your style.

Chemical photography (I believe) lasts longer when done properly and generally costs less than digital. I don't know if there's more advantages than that though.

I got some pictures done (black and white) at Sam's Club and at a Kodak lab. When compared to what I produced at the lab at school, mine where MUCH better.

w0w, where do you get something like that ?

Ebay 🙂

And my dog wears a diaper because ever since we got a new dog a few years ago, he pees uncontrollably. We tie a diaper around him and problem solved!
