Hey everyone 🙂

Yup, my once daily visit to anandtech. Was last here on October 21, 2005 and before that on October 20, 2005.

It is changed quite a bit. It certainly doesn't seem quite as friendly as it used to be, lots of profanity, and there seems to be loads of members who post a lot but actually have little or nothing to say! Lots of hostility and flaming too.. old wars never die - Nvidia vs ATI, Intel vs AMD. I am a crusty old bloke wanting the good old days back.

Are all the old timers still around? Viper? Texmaster? BFG10k? A guy who is from Iceland beginning with C? Loads of others, just can't remember the names! What's with all the alternative lifestyle freaks populating the board now?

There's been much bannage since I have been on regularly. The stickied thread about he culture made me laugh so hard I nearly peed myself. So much bannage!!!

the OP *did* post earlier that he wanted to increase his postcount. that thread subsequently got locked. i guess he's still trying to find ways.
