My Daddys Acer Chromebook bit the dust last week ... looking for a replacement

It was 2018 model with a 17.3 screen

Been waiting 2 weeks for Best Buy to ship one almost identical to it but they changed they changed tracking wording around 4 days ago

Should arrive between June 20 or June 23, if not delivered by July 3, they are going to refund my money

Went to Acers site and could not find any Chromebooks with 17.3 screens but they have 3 with 15.6 screens

Daddy is 100 and only browses for car parts, furniture for Mama, house appliance and hot rods, he has 16/20 vision

I think I am not going to get the Best Buy Chromebook and thought I would cancel the order and buy the 15.6 screen one from Acer

Any have experience in what the viewing would be between the smaller screen versus the larger screen please ??


Or I could look for a large screen online, Amazon has some but they are not through Prime and I have read some Folks are getting used Chromebooks instead of new

Several 17" models, most with only 4GB RAM and eMMC disk though. eMMC dies sooner than SSD,

You can also buy a $200 mini pc and pair it with a large TV
