My dad thought cold sore pills were diet pills

Cold sore pills are for my older sister who has herpes (for the mouth, stfu if you think its the STD). So my dad finds it in the closet, thinks my mom is using the cold sore pills as diet pills (he doesn't like seeing anything diet around the house), and throws em out.

Nice.
 
Why would you care if we think she has genital herpes? She'll probably catch it at one point or another from herself.

What pills were these?

i know of taking L-Lysine, and then using abreva, but ive never really researched pills other than those and Vitamin-E.

He threw out lysine pills (prescribed too).
no he did not reimburst for his stupidity.

EDIT: L-Lysine is OTC, 500 mg 100 tablets.

i know L-Lysine can be had as an over the counter, but i dont know what the prescribed stuff has that the regular OTC stuff doesnt ($2.72 for 100 500mg tablets)
