My dad isn't happy with my grades.

Ok well all hell broke loose in the kitchen this morning. I walk into the kitched where my brother, mom and dad are having breakfast. I was chatting with my friend on the cell phone as I walked in. My dad saw me, and grabbed my report card. I failed all my classes except for animation. He was really angry at me, so I told him that I don't need to go to school. He heard that and gave me a long lecture about if I don't go to school, I don't get job. If I don't get job, I wont be able to afford BMW 7 Series.


I am so depressed. He just loves my brother more, who invests in the stock market a lot. Only my grand father loves me, but he is gone fishing.

I could have been watching the paint in the other room dry which would have been far more entertaining than reading your post.

It's not that your dad loves your brother it?s that you don't give him the opportunity to show you his love. You are going to say I'm wrong but I'm not. If my kid came home with those grades and that attitude he would be grounded until I say straight B's at least. What do you think you are going to do without a College diploma? I'm assuming this is college Right, because if it is HS you don't even need to attend class to get B's. And who is paying for your schooling? You, don't think so since you don't care.

Before I get too much into it, you need to go to your father and say "Dad, you know I don't like school, and I'm not very good at it. Will you help me". You will put him on his a$$ (so to speak). It he would be able to die a happy man at that point. But it's just the second beginning for the two of you. Make the effort and don't shut him out.

True story (some of you might remember this)...

San Gabriel High School, after a the report cards were given out, at the end of school day, we were leaving. All of a sudden, there were commotion, a dude has jumped off the roof of the gym and committed suicide. His received an F in one of his class. His mother was strict and has told him she would "kill him if he did bad in school". :Q
