My custom internal bluetooth dongle.

i could not find any internal bluetooth adapters for my pc so i custom made one. i found a usb extension cable laying around and decided to route the cable through a pci plate and taped the bluetooth dongle to the inside of the case.

? theres a reason theres no internal adaptors. bluetooth doesn't go through metal

Wouldn't it be better if you stuck it outside? that way you get more range on your bluetooth device. ????
And you wouldn't have to leave a pci slot open for dust to enter.

he's trying to keep it in the machine for transportablity. its probably just for his cellphone or psp i am guessing.

The dongle has more of an external footprint than the actual adapter. I'm still missing the point of this.

Why didn't you just take one of those front case adaptors plug it into the INTERNAL USB ports. So you don't have a USB cord going from the outside to the inside of your case?
