My CTRL button doesn't work (no Ctrl+V, Ctrl+C...)

both keys stopped working. Whenever I use them, I just get the letter to show up, without the CTRL effect.
Where do I start looking to fix this?

that happens to me sometimes. Just open up notepad, type some stuff, copy and paste it and it should work again.

2) smash yourself in face w/ keyboard
3) try ctrl key
4) repeat as necessary

Try holding it down for 5 or 10 seconds. Maybe you triggered one of the alternative uses for those buttons. You should get a windows popup of some sort.

Try it! it should work after 3 or 4 attempts 😉

tear apart the keyboard, make sure there isn't any gunk under your cntrl key, make sure the contacts under the key work (do they both not work or just 1 of them ?) On the other hand I guess if they both don't work and they are the only key's that don't work (IE the keys beside them work) then they could be stuck down making windows not notice when you press the other one, so follow the above procedure also

OK, nothing is working.

ARGHH. I dont know how much longer I can last if i have to use my mouse to copy/paste
